Operating Systems

Dialog of two guys talking.

{guy 1: "So You got a Windows?"}

{guy 2: Yes, I did and do you still have that old mac pro?"}

{guy 1:" Damn right Mac for life!"}

{A third guy enters the room.}

{guy 3:"Dude neither one of you have a 'good' operating system, Linux is where its at."}

{guy 2: " Dude Linux is hard you have to be a programmer you download applications using the comand prompt, and it's mostly used by hackers because it requires no permissions. How do I know your not carrying around a live bootable cd around my windows."}

{guy 3: Well Yeah but dude when you crash like you normally do from viruses don't come crying to me to retrive the files on your hard drive via bootable cd. }

{guy 2 runs home probably to store his files on a ftp server.}

Now today I want to talk about Linux, there are lots and I mean lots of different Linux operating systems. Linux is a free to use operating system based on Unix it was released in October 1991. Linux is what we call  open source  meaning it is open to the public. Many systems use Linux as a firmware(which is a combination of software and hardware). Android is known for using Linux Kernel
